What level is Kanzy for?
Kanzy is designed for beginners: kids starting Arabic from zero or still learning the basics. If your child can already read Arabic fluently, Kanzy likely isn't the right fit yet.
Is Kanzy an online Arabic class or an app?
Kanzy is an online Arabic program with live teacher-led lessons. Kids also practice what they learn through interactive activities and their own virtual world.
How is Kanzy different from Arabic apps?
Self-serve apps like Duolingo focus on tapping, matching, and memorizing. Traditional weekend schools and Zoom classes often struggle to keep kids engaged. Kanzy combines live teaching with practice built around everyday Arabic, so kids use what they learn right away by building, creating, and sharing.
What does a typical lesson look like?
Lessons start with a quick review, then introduce a new letter or word in context, then move to free play to practice it. Reading, listening, writing, and speaking all happen in the same session.
What language or dialect are lessons taught in?
Lessons are taught mainly in Modern Standard Arabic, simplified with everyday words and phrases children can use and recognize. Teachers may use English when needed to build connection, support understanding, and keep your child engaged.
Will my child understand if the lesson is mostly in Arabic?
Yes. Lessons are highly visual and interactive, and teachers use gestures, context, and activities to make meaning clear. When needed, they may use English so your child feels connected and ready to learn.
What qualifications do your teachers have?
Our teachers have experience teaching children in online environments and are carefully selected for their ability to engage young learners. Every teacher goes through ongoing training to deliver our method and support language development step by step.

What kind of device do we need?

Do I need to help my child with homework?
There is no traditional homework. We send you a short prompt you can ask your child, giving them a chance to show what they learned.
How can I track my child's progress?
We send short, regular prompts to help you spark conversations with your child. These give your child a chance to show what they’re learning and help you stay connected to their progress. Children also create projects that demonstrate what they’ve learned.
Can I cancel or reschedule a lesson?
For sure! Cancel 24 hours before your lesson and you'll receive a make-up lesson to reschedule within 45 days.
What if my child doesn't like it after joining?
If the programme is not the right fit after the first month, we will refund it in full.
